If anyone can't seem to get it to work using the supplied directions, here's what I did (I run Vista):
(Requires access to the internet in order to authenticate)
1) Found the file nwncdkey in C:Program FilesAtariNeverwinter Nights 2. (the default installation folder)
2) Opened nwncdkey with notepad and changed the entry for key 1 (the original content key) to DKQC4-U466M-E4CYU-TDGJ7-CYMEH-TF7H6-3MKMN. saved and closed. (If you run into the same problem that I did where your computer won't allow you to save changes made to nwncdkey, I got around the problem by copying nwncdkey to desktop, editing the copy with notepad, saving it, closing it, then moving the edited copy back to C:Program FilesAtariNeverwinter Nights 2 and choosing to overwrite the original)
3) Mounted the cue file supplied in this torrent with Daemon Tools and ran it.
4) When the installer asked for a serial I put in VQ31N-2FLQO-A81G7-2SXM8-BXH0A-HJACB-QL3K5 (the original serial in this torrents directions). From here just finish the rest of the installation.
5) When it is done installing, run Neverwinter Nights 2 choose new campaign and pick Mysteries of Westgate. With no firewall interference you should now be able to play MoW. (I had to completely drop my firewall in order to get it to connect with the authenticating server)
